The current Wrangler has more available limited editions than it does trim levels.
Trims: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon
LEs: Willys Wheeler, Black Bear, Freedom Edition, Backcountry, Rubicon Hard Rock
You can get an Infiniti Q70 (5-series fighter in case you forgot) with a 420hp, 5.6L V8 with optional AWD. If you decide to go for the extended wheelbase version, you will have a 416hp Q70L. That 4hp drop allows both variants to achieve the same 16/24 mpg (16/23 mpg with AWD).
It’s also helpful to note that the Hyundai Genesis lines up specifically against this model. Hyundai says E-class and 5-series, but that’s just because they don’t want people remembering the Q70 is a thing. I think Infiniti and Genesis are about to have a great rivalry that no one will pay attention to.
Fuel Caps
If you’re having trouble with a loose gas cap, tighten it from the round portion rather than the bit that’s made to be gripped between the thumb and finger. That “handle” is to make removing the cap easier, not placing it on. To put it simply, if it looks like this:
Treat it like this:
Check Engine Light
If your check engine light isn’t on, consider whether or not the bulb is out. I realized something was wrong when it didn’t come on after start up one day. I had always thought it was a feature to remind buyers that their vehicle was running. I miss my Kia Rio sometimes.
Wiper Blades
Please make sure people know how to change their wiper blades, especially if it is a relatively new vehicle. There is rarely reason to change both at the same time, and you should never let this be added to a service. It takes 7 seconds to do, and they’ll likely pay the service provider for all wipers to be replaced rather than the one that’s worn. It also allows an extra half hour to be added on to a visit. Simply put, it should be the first “repair” taught in my opinion.

Why would you never change multiple blades at once? I can understand rear blades not getting as much use, but they all see relatively similar environmental stresses and the front blades see just about the same level of wear.

Weird thing is, those Wranglers aren’t really limited edition, they’re really just accessorized differently. Like the Willy is a Sport with some off road goodies.

Like tires, both are moving through similar conditions however wear can 30% more severe simply due to that one time a solid object hit it. I just replaced the 21' passenger side blade because the rubber had detached from the blade in spots towards the middle causing a blurred spot when in operation. The driver side however is in great shape and will make it through winter, meaning it will make it the rest of the year since water is easy on the rubber. Cold and sand however tear them apart. Why not spend $13 instead of $28? It isn’t like changing a timing belt so doing the water pump too while you’re in there. I’m a percent guy, so spending over 100% more, regardless of affordability, is a no-go. I won’t spend $1,000 (or $10) if I can spend $400 (or $4) now and $600 ($6) later on.
